I like it! Interesting how you managed to have the top of the can match the horizon line. It works well. I wonder what it would look like with an even lower point of view, making the can go above the horizon... It might not be possible given the size of the can though.
The depth of field is effective at making us focus on the can. Well done.

Maybe you could have twisted a little bit the can before shooting, to emphasize the "pollution" idea. The capture itself is remarkably neat.

I think of this as social commentary. Of course it works beautifully as an image without that implication but the thought behind this image stands out for me..

wow . . having read thru all those diverse Comments, I conclude you have powerful image there! My 2¢ would be that, yes, a slightly lower PoV would have added something to the composition but the message still got out! Well done.
