Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaGood shot and meaningful in so many ways....Perfect title ;) 28 May 2008 9:01am sophie from Paris, FranceI like it! Interesting how you managed to have the top of the can match the horizon line. It works well. I wonder what it would look like with an even lower point of view, making the can go above the horizon... It might not be possible given the size of the can though. 28 May 2008 10:49am Jonas from Vitória, BrazilMaybe you could have twisted a little bit the can before shooting, to emphasize the "pollution" idea. The capture itself is remarkably neat. 28 May 2008 11:14am daina from United StatesI think of this as social commentary. Of course it works beautifully as an image without that implication but the thought behind this image stands out for me.. 28 May 2008 2:17pm sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United StatesI absolutely love this! Definitely a favorite. 28 May 2008 2:59pm alex centrella from California, United Statessimplicity with a different look..well done. 28 May 2008 3:02pm Helma from Tehran, Iranwow !! P h o t o . W o r l d from Copenhagen, DenmarkHope that people will start to think more about the environment and not just throw their garbage all over the place. 28 May 2008 7:05pm Persian King from Tehran, IranSimple, yet strong, it could be used by Coca Cola company as means of commercial, well done, beyond good 28 May 2008 7:05pm Will from Gainesville, United Statesawesome yiannis!...i've been in away...crazy busy at work...always love your work:) 28 May 2008 7:09pm zOOm from Paris, FranceThis can takes all the place and that's effective and suits your title as well. 28 May 2008 7:15pm paulski from Muncie, IN, United Statesthis looks fake (which on one level, it is), pretend, surreal. love the angle, the detail, that you can seethe individual grains of sand. a nice change-up. excellent! 28 May 2008 7:18pm Graham Russon from Cape Town, South Africawhat a great pov and angle. The texture of the sand and can are marvelous. A great shot all round 28 May 2008 7:25pm Valérie from FranceVery great shot! Le rendu est impressionnant. Fantastic shapes. 29 May 2008 4:42am Ronnie 2¢ from London, United Kingdomwow . . having read thru all those diverse Comments, I conclude you have powerful image there! My 2¢ would be that, yes, a slightly lower PoV would have added something to the composition but the message still got out! Well done. 30 May 2008 9:35am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaInteresting how you make it look like a treasure here, despite the title! Great work, as always. 30 May 2008 9:46am |
