There is there something that we could name in French an "oxymore". A visual "oxymore", i.e. kind of a contradiction between the passage and the trunk of the tree that seems close the passage. Very intriguing!

This is a great series, and I think this is my favorite (I may have already said that earlier! :) Anyway, I love the composition and the "joke" within it. Very clever and as always beautifully composed.
